Author Bio
Andrew McCloy is well acquainted with writing walking guides, being the author of Coastal Walks Around Britain (New Holland) and The Land's End to John o'Groat's Walk (Cordee) as well as various titles on the Peak District. He is a keen long-distance walker and was formerly the information officer for the Ramblers' Association. He lives in Derbyshire. Andrew Midgley's recent work includes the Yorkshire Tourist Board's 2004 visitor guide and Best Walks in the Lake District and Best Walks in Northumberland (both Frances Lincoln). He lectures in photography and exhibits regularly in galleries nationwide.
