Gehan de Silva Wijeyeratne is the author of numerous books and articles on Sri Lanka and its flora and fauna, including the best-selling New Holland title Photographic Guide to the Birds of Sri Lanka. With weekly media appearances, he has emerged as a Sri Lankan celebrity in Wildlife & Tourism. Gehan is the CEO of Jetwing Eco Holidays, and is also a Director of Jetwing Hotels, responsible for developing nature based tourism. He lives in Sri Lanka.
