Media Reviews
4 stars - This book looks at 18 pictures and how each artist has used line in a completely different way to create heart-stopping delicate, strange of firece art for everyone to enjoy. www.bettybookmark.co.uk Good quality books on art directed at young people from about seven or eight and upwards are hard to come by. First impressions suggest that the titles in the 'Look!' series are the exception... The series certainly deserves consideration for primary and secondary school libraries. School Librarian In my experience good quality books on art directed at young people from about seven or eight upwards are hard to come by. First impressions suggest that the titles in the Look! series are the exception. Good quality reproductions of a variety of artistic styles are accompanied by well laid out pages using clear type faces, small inserts of detail from the main picture with concise and informed commentaries, and for good measure a task for the reader as a follw-up to the main theme. The series certainly deserves consideration for primary and secondary school libraries. School Librarian An uncomplicated introduction to art. Irish Examiner
