Media Reviews
Robertson's illustrations of the 'pets' are incredibly imaginative amalgams of well-known creatures, drawn in detail, with vivid colours. The creatures are indeed gruesome, but there is a strong element of humour which children would find appealing. www.writeaway.org.uk ... splendid wordplay, a strong sense of the ridiculous - this should have young children both cringing and laughing Books for Keeps This is a wacky and entertaining book with amazing illustrations -- John Paine English 4-11
