Author Bio
Denyse Devlin is the daughter of an Irish diplomat and was born in Boston in 1958. She studied Arabic and English at University College, Dublin and subsequently worked as a translator in Iraq. She travelled extensively in the Middle East, and also lived in the USA, Belgium, Australia and the UK, before settling in Co Cork with her English husband in 1987. She has two teenage daughters.
