Author Bio
Dr Peter Larkin qualified as a veterinary surgeon from the Royal Veterinary College, London, in 1953, and was later awarded the degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine by thesis from the University of Berne. Mike Stockman, MRCVS, qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 1949 and has been actively involved with dogs all his life. He has served as President of the British Veterinary Association and as Chairman of the Crufts organizing sub-committee. Now retired from general practice, Mike judges dogs at the highest levels of competition, both at home and abroad. He contributes regularly to veterinary journals and has been a BBC television commentator at Crufts for the last 10 years.
