Author Bio
Nigel Rodgers, who has a degree in history and history of art from Cambridge University, has written widely on history, philosophy and art. Among his recent books are The Rise and Full of Ancient Rome and biographies of Hitler and Churchill. Dr Hazel Dodge FSA is the Louis Claude Purser Senior Lecturer in Classical Archaeology at the School of Classics, Trinity College, Dublin. Her research centres on all aspects of Roman construction and building technology, and, with Peter Counolly, she is the author of The Ancient City (OUP).
