Panic Nation: Exposing the myths we're told about food and health

Panic Nation: Exposing the myths we're told about food and health

by Vincent Marks (Author), Stanley Feldman (Author)

Synopsis

A book that sets out to demonstrate that, when it comes to food, we are not in full possession of the facts! The basic problem, according to the authors, is that we depend on the "precautionary principle", the result being that food is a natural focus for scaremongering, since it is common to everyone. Hence many of us believe that the food we consume is killing us. With arguments that are make common sense, this is a book that should alleviate the panic that sets in every time you look at a plate.
