Peel-offs are everywhere these days, and are a wonderfully user-friendly way of adorning greetings cards. But that isn't all you can do with them, and this book will tell you more. It is part of Search Press' new series A Passion For Paper, showcasing some of the trends that have made papercrafts so very popular.

You can make cards of course, but why not have a go at making gift tags, bookmarks, boxes, Christmas decorations, scrapbooking or covering blank books? In short, a grand way of packaging and labelling your gifts, a few of the gifts themselves and happy memories of the occasions celebrated. You don't need all that much to make these things, and most of the items shown are the sort of things papercrafters already have (glitter glue, fancy yarns, sequins, paints etc) or which can be easily obtained. The projects are all fairly simple, and of the sort that can be adapted to be used with different peel-offs, and any occasion you can think of. Boxes particularly are well covered in here, and look like gifts themselves. I've seen other books on peel-offs, but they all seemed to be mainly about cards so it is wonderful to see something like this. One for the keeper shelf to be mined for ideas!

There's more to peel-offs and outline stickers than you think as Judy Balchin shows in her new book. The book features 11 projects each using a different technique with outline stickers. Combine stickers with acetate and glitter for a sparkle effect, create your own 3D pictures or emboss them on foil for a metal effect. Each idea is explained by step-by-step instructions and photographs.
