No Christmas table is complete without a few decorations. Don't buy them readymade from stores, make your own this year...

It is surprising what the most ordinary materials (including items usually destined for the trash) can be turned into with a bit of patience and skill. Cocktail glasses for example, or old boutique bags with a holographic finish. Or what about a wee tin bucket, and some perforated metal sheeting used for radiator covers? I confess to being surprised at what attractive table decorations these items became and applaud the recycling sentiments heartily. Of course you need some other more usual items too, but nothing too expensive or hard to obtain (louder applause) and I think I had just about everything, or could rustle it up without much ado.

The instructions went into the methods thoroughly, with plenty of large colored photos showing the items being made up. There is even a small strip of real snowflakes that you can scan in and print out, some templates and the gallery options look easy enough to make even without more than a few words' worth of description. One of my favorite Christmas craft books, and highly recommended.
