Jonathan Tummons in a lecturer in teacher training at York College, a member of the Consortium for Post-Compulsory Education and Training. Prior to this, he taught for ten years at the School of Continuing Education at the University of Leeds, and has wide experience in working with adult learners for other universities, and for the Workers' Educational Association. He is a fellow of the Institute for Learning.
