Synopsis

Liam stays out of the house as much as possible to avoid his aggressive, boozy dad. One day, he and his mates decide to form a band and enter the Battle of the Bands in three weeks' time. But when Liam goes to buy himself a drum kit, the owner of the local junk shop recognizes him - he used to be in a band with Liam's parents until they disbanded when Murph, the drummer, had a terrible accident during the same contest. Three weeks later, when Liam's band performs, a stage light falls on Liam's head and he finds himself a ghost, having gone back in time to when his parents were teenagers. He thinks he must be there to stop Murph being killed but instead, finds out on the fateful night that Murph was actually his father. Soon after, Liam wakes from a coma in his own time, and his discoveries about his past help him to reunite his unhappy family.
