Synopsis

Status Quo have undoubtedly earned their place in rock history. The band's record sales have exceeded 112 million units. They had 58 British hit singles - more than any other band, and more hit albums in the UK charts than any other group except the Rolling Stones. The list of achievements is quite stunning and 'the party ain't over yet'. Throughout 2005 and 2006 Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt are celebrating their 40 years together in Quo with a further 200 concerts on their 'Continental World tour'. Recognized as one of the first 'bands of the people' their ultimate aim has always been to 'send an audience home happy' which they continue to do the world over. Status Quo is the authorized book of personal and professional photographs of the band taken between 1966 and 2005, plus hundreds of photos of rare memorabilia all compiled by Bob Young and edited by Rossi and Parfitt.
