Author Bio
Susan Greenfield became the first female director of The Royal Institution of Great Britain in 1998. For over 200 years, the Royal Institution has been 'diffusing science for the common purposes of life'. In January 2000 Susan Greenfield was awarded the CBE for her services to the public understanding of science. She has a DPhil from the University Department of Pharmacology and she has held fellowships in the Department of Physiology, Oxford, the College of France, Paris, and NYU Medical Centre, New York.
