Author Bio
Ian Rowlands is a practising artist who specializes in portrait and figure painting. Trained at the Royal Academy Schools in London, he now teaches painting and life drawing at the Slade School of Fine Art, and at Heatherley's, an independent art school in Chelsea. He contributes regular articles on painting and drawing techniques to The Artist magazine, the UK's leading practical art monthly. Ian's work has been exhibited widely, at venues including the Mall Galleries, the Slade Gallery and Henry Wyndham Fine Art. This is his first book.
