Author Bio
Erica Brealey is a freelance editorial consultant and writer who has worked in publishing for many years, specializing in health and spirituality. She is the co-author of Meditation: A Practical Introduction to the Techniques, the Traditions and the Benefits (first published in 1988; latest edition Vintage 2002) which is a practical introduction to the uses of meditation and its role in relieving stress. She has also written Eat Orgasmically and Still Lose Weight (Thorsons, 1997) Ten Minute Stress Relief, and Ten Minute Anti-Ageing (Cassell Illustrated 2003), Erica who has been practising yoga and meditation since her teens, lives in islington with her husband and son. Bellur Krishnamachar Sundaraja Iyengar is the founder of the Iyengar school of yoga, and still teaches from his base in Pune in southern India. His book Light on Yoga is a classic reference for all students of yoga and meditation.
