Gay Search is one of Britain's best-known gardeners. For many years she was a regular presenter on the BBC's flagship gardening programme Gardeners' World and has also written many best-selling gardening books, including Front Gardens, Gardening from Scratch and Gardening Without a Garden. Her most recent books include Gardeners' World Through the Years and Delia's Kitchen Garden, a collaboration with her long-time friend Delia Smith which was the best-selling gardening title of 2004. She is gardening editor of Sainsbury's Magazine and shares her garden in London with her husband, two sons, two cats and assorted wildlife.
