The birth of Julia Jarman's first grandchild inspired her to start writing picture book stories and the bestselling, award-winning Big Red Bath (Orchard) was one of her very first, closely followed by Big Blue Train. She has also written young fiction titles for HarperCollins and Andersen Press. Julia lives in Bedfordshire.
