Synopsis

Author Bio
Joan Lingard lives in Edinburgh where she writes novels for both adults and children. Many of her books are set in Belfast, where she lived as a child, including the highly successful Kevin and Sadie quintet. Joan has won many awards including the Sheffield Children's Book Award and the FCBG Award for her novel Tug of War (also shortlisted for the Carnegie Medal). In 1998, Joan was awarded a MBE for her services to children's literature.
