Media Reviews
'The curiousity of Oliver, the magic of the Griffin and the careful depiction of emition are reminiscent of Edith Nesbit's writing... Truly here is a tale that is timely and, like its subject, is something to be treasured.' -- Achuka 20060701
Author Bio
Michael Lawrence originally trained as a graphic designer and photographer, but subsequently became a television script reader, press officer, an art and antiques dealer, a painter and sculptor, and several other things he would rather not talk about. His first book, a novel for children, was published in 1995. He is now a full time author, creator of the popular Jiggie McCue books, and the Aldous Lexicon trilogy. Baby Christmas is his first picture book for Orchard.
