Everyone, except for Pearl, because she is unable to see. Pearl's mother and father want to marry her off to either Prince Maravick or Prince Araman, but Pearl is not interested in their bragging. Her heart is set on Charis, the servant boy who has kept her company since she was little. But Pearl's parents aren't impressed - not at all ...A beautifully written and exquisitely illustrated story about staying true to your heart, by this first-time pairing of an award-winning author and illustrator.
