The Beheading and Other Stories

The Beheading and Other Stories

by Bob Crew (Author)

Synopsis

The Beheading is the title piece of this collection of true stories - some grim, some witty - based on the author's own experiences as the Saudi Arabia correspondent for The Times . Included in this collection is the author's account of an adulterous woman stoned to death - Women Are Always to Blame . Bob Crew is one of the few Westerners ever to have witnessed it at first hand. And, in An Extract From My Diary , he explains how his predictions regarding what has not changed in Saudi Arabia in the new Millennium have been remarkably prescient.
