Author Bio
Michael Mansfield QC represented defendants in many well-known criminal trials and appeals, most notably the Birmingham 6, the prisoners at Strangeways and the Bridgewater 4. He is the President of the National Civil Rights Movement and is the founder of Amicus, a charitable group that offers free legal representation to those on Death Row.
