Author Bio
Kate Buchanan is the founder of the Westender Stitch 'n' Bitch knitting group in Ealing and was a finalist in the National Knitting Awards 2005. She teaches hand knitting at Chelsea College of Art and Designs. Laura Long is now involved in various knitwear design projects, including designing garments and accessories for Rowan magazines and creating garments and accessories for fashion houses. Sian Luyken is an experienced hand-knitter who has designed garments for Simply Knitting and Magknits and she is co-organizer of the London knitting group Angelknits. Louise Butt is a new designer working in knitwear and has designed several exciting hand knit projects for Simply Knitting magazine. She is based in Wiltshire.
