The Lost Zodiac of the Druids

The Lost Zodiac of the Druids

by Gregory Clouter (Author)

Synopsis

The Lost Zodiac of the Druids takes the reader on a remarkable journey back in time and into the Celtic psyche. The book casts new light on what it meant for our Celtic ancestors to gaze up at the star-studded heavens at night. The focus is the world-famous Gundestrop Cauldron - an ancient Celtic artifact unearthed in Denmark, and embellished with curious carved images. This is the starting point for the author's startling re-evaluation of Celtic celestial beliefs. The book explores the imagery's previously obscure significance to reveal the secret cosmology of the Druids. A completely new interpretation of Celtic beliefs, both redefining and re-examining Celtic cosmology, this book will appeal to both academics and general readers - in fact, to all those with a taste for the unusual and esoteric aspects of our human history.
