The Wicca Book of Days

by SheenaMorgan (Author)

Synopsis

The Wiccan Book of Days in not just a diary but also a journey of self-discovery and magical transformation. Wiccans live close to nature and become attuned to her rhythms by celebrating the cycle of the moon and the natural cadence of the seasons with rites and festivals. These festivals and the phases of the moon are clearly marked, alongside other relevant astrological information, giving all the information needed to celebrate the Wheel of the Year. The diary also provides the information needed to garden in accordance with the phases of the moon, benefit from the better yield which results or so you can harvest magical herbs at the most propitious time. Each month opens with a double page spread that offers a simple rite suited to the month, and each week has a short meditation, spell, pathworking, magical task or invocation. These provide a carefully planned programme so that by the end of the year, all aspects of Wicca will have been covered. Each week has plenty of space in which to record notes, magical findings, dreams, symbols and revelations which occur during meditation, so that the diary itself becomes a treasured record of your own magical journey.

Author Bio
Sheena Morgan is a writer, researcher and a Priestess of Wicca. Her long-standing interest in myth, folk traditions and magic stems from a childhood spent in Africa, where magic was commonplace and a trip to the local witch doctor was as unexceptional as a trip to the market. Ten years spent exploring the world, from Australia to America, fuelled her interest in various magical traditions, while experiences in Greece, Bali and Egypt reawakened her devotion to witchcraft. She currently lives in a cottage on the south coast and spends all of her free time out in the woods that surround her home. She also lectures and runs workshops in the traditional and magical uses of British native wild plants. Her first book was The Real Halloween.
