Ian Cooke has worked in professional horticulture for over 35 years. He currently works as Grounds Manager for Nottingham University, the first university campus to win a Green Flag Award. He is actively involved with Nottingham in Bloom, helping the city to win the Gold Medal. He holds the National Collection of Canna and has a particular interest in exotic and architectural plants. He is the author of two previous books and has written for various magazines. He lives in Nottingham.
