Author Bio
Jim Budd, general editor and contributor to this multi-author book, began writing about wine in 1988 for the UK periodical Taste, and then for Decanter. He currently writes for Wine and Spirit International, Wine Monthly, as well as the European and Asia Pacific Drinks Buyer. Since March 1991 he has edited Circle Update, the newsletter of the British Circle of Wine Writers. He also contributed to Oz Clarke's Pocket Wine Guide and The Global Encyclopedia of Wine. In 1997 he won the Prix du Champagne Lanson Noble Cuvee Award for investigating the champagne for the Millennium investment scams. The other contributors are: James Lawther MW, Linda Johnson-Bell, John Livingstone-Learmouth, Rosemary George MW, Stephen Brook, Patricia Guy, John Radford, Giles MacDonogh, Hilary Wright, Wendy Toerien, Peter Forrestal and Christine Austin.
