Author Bio
Catherine Fisher was born in Wales, where she studied English at university. She has worked in archaeology and in education, as a lecturer of Creative Writing at the University of Glamorgan. Catherine has been shortlisted for numerous awards and her 2007 bestseller Incarceron was chosen by The Times as its Children's Book of the Year. Catherine has also written The Magic Thief for Barrington Stoke. She lives in her hometown of Newport.
