Lemmy Was a Diver

Lemmy Was a Diver

by Colin Mc Naughton (Author)

Synopsis

A hilarious new picture book that uses the bouncy rhythm of a nursery rhyme to show the power of imagination, from the creator of the irresistible Preston Pig. Ideal to read aloud. Lemmy is at the seaside being a diver, albeit a six-year old diver, and he has a fierce rival, Bully Boy McCoy, who is much bigger than him. When Lemmy finds a treasure chest full of gold on the sea floor they tussle over it, and Lemmy wins by hitting his rival on the nose (bop!). Now he's rich, Lemmy goes to the Fairground, and takes to the air, becoming a pilot in a Round-the-World Race. Wouldn't you know it, Bully Boy McCoy is the only pilot who might match his speed - but doesn't, quite! And so then there's just the stars to conquer, as Lemmy clambers into the playground climbing frame...
