Synopsis

Moose takes a job on a building site, and finds that the best shovel, the biggest mug, and most comfy chair all belong to Big Bad Barney Bear, and must be left for him. This finally enrages him so much that he decides to fight him: I'll whump him and I'll clump him. he says. Tony Ross trained at the Liverpool School of Art. He has worked as a cartoonist, graphic designer, and art director of an advertising agency. He taught art for many years at Manchester Polytechnic. He now works as a full time author and illustrator and is one of Britain's most prolific and acclaimed children's book illustrators.
