by Martin Miller (Author)

Synopsis

The first titles in this series of invaluable individual guides, Antiques: Furniture, Antiques: Collectables and Antiques: Under [pound]500, are the perfect companion for your antiques hunts, as well as an excellent reference source for identifying and valuing your own antiques and collectables. Written by antique and collectable expert Martin Miller, this series of handy paperback guides not only includes prices, manufacturers and dates for over 700 items, but each entry is also illustrated with a colour photograph, so you can see exactly what you should be looking for. Containing an index of dealers and antique markets, these books not only show you where to find what you are looking for, but the price guide helps you avoid the wild variations which are often a feature of auction sales. Many of the items featured, or similar objects, will be available for purchase when the books are published, for those keen to hunt down a particular piece. Martin Miller continues to make it even easier for the collector to find exactly what they are looking with these individual full-colour illustrated guides to antiques and collectables.
