Mary Atkinson is qualified to practise body massage and reflexology. She works as a complementary therapist at a local hospice and also a runs a private clinic specialising in treating stress-related health problems. She is a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists. Mary has been a health and fitness writer for over 20 years. She regularly contributes to leading national magazines including Woman's Realm, Bello. Slimming and Practical Parenting. She has written 13 books including her most recent. The Art of Indian Head Massage. She has also worked closely with Dr Paul Sherwood on three books on health-related topics, and with Susan Hampshire on her book on dyslexia, Every Letter Counts. Mary lives in Chichester with her husband and two daughters.
