by Mary Maguire (Author), Mary Maguire (Author), Peter Williams (Photographer)

Synopsis

Wire is a cheap and readily-available medium, and functional and decorative pieces can be made with a few twists and bends. The potential of wire is showcased in the first section of this volume, where photographed pieces by contemporary artists are presented. The handbook goes on to demonstrate how to create everything from baskets and frames to jewellery and chandeliers. There are 25 projects. The basic techniques are shown in full and should be simple to learn -once the basics have been mastered all the projects should be easily achieved.
