A Sense of Belonging to Scotland: Further Journeys

by Andy Hall (Author)

Synopsis

"A Sense of Belonging to Scotland: Futher Journeys" is the culmination of a highly personal project for photographer Andy Hall. In 2002, Andy set himself the task of photographing the favourite places of some of Scotland's best-loved personalities, asking each of them to describe in their own words why their chosen corner of the country is so special. The result was a collection of breathtaking photography and evocative, personal writing. "Further Journeys" continues the theme of the first volume in the company of an array of notable people from many different walks of life. When seen as a complete collection, "A Sense of Belonging to Scotland" offers a unique insight into the character of Scotland's wonderful landscape and the acheivements of its people. As Andy himself explains: 'My own motivation has been my love of Scotland, its people, its landscape and its light.'
