Synopsis

Hairy Mole had wanted to be a pirate for as long as he could remember. With a black, bushy beard, rotten teeth and an eyepatch (which he didn't really need), Hairy Mole was nearly as scary as his pirate crew: Belch (the tallest, with the biggest nose), Pickle, the twins, Crevice and Pitt, and tiny Guff (she has the biggest ears). Oh, and we mustn't forget Mr. Bogey, the first mate, with huge nostrils, hairy ears and stubble you could grate cheese on. Not to mention a cricket bat for a leg. So follow the adventures of Hairy Mole and his gallant crew as they go out on their little pirate ship in search of treasure and jam. Even when Hairy Mole smells of lemons he still manages to lead his crew into great adventures, even if they do get to eat nothing but fish fingers. The Hairy Mole Series is published by Ransom Publishing, a specialist children's publisher.
