Author Bio
Stella Blackstone has written many best-selling titles for Barefoot Books, including the popular Bear and Cleo series and An Island In the Sun (2002). Her stories have been translated into a number of languages. Stella lives in Somerset with her three children, two dogs and two cats. Maria Carluccio has studied art all over the world, and has also taught drawing and illustration at the Academy of Art in San Francisco. She comes from a creative background as her mother was an artist, creating paintings and ceramics, while her father was a lawyer and writer. Maria takes her inspiration from everything around her, from the knick-knacks she collects in flea markets to scraps of paper she finds on the streets.
