Synopsis

Following the success of "The Story Tree", and in response to demand for a second preschool collection, this anthology includes seven classic stories and less-familiar favourites that younger children will love. With language tailored to be easily understood by two- to four-year-olds, "Storytime" is a perfect choice for bedtime, storytime or any other time that calls for sharing. Multicultural anthology combines best-loved children's stories, such as "The Ugly Duckling" and "The Three Little Pigs", with lesser-known favourites like "The Timid Hare". Vivid illustrations and easy-to-follow text make this volume perfect for reading aloud to young children. It is a companion volume to "The Story Tree - Tales to Read Aloud" (1-84148-312-5), which has sold over 100,000 copies worldwide.
