Author Bio
Caitlin Matthews is a writer, singer and storyteller who makes her home in Oxford. Since childhood, she has had an abiding love of myths and legends and has written over 25 titles on Celtic and British mythology, among them, Ladies of the Lake and The Celtic Book of Days. She has also written The Blessing Seed (1998) for Barefoot Books. Olwyn Whelan gained a post-graduate diploma in illustration from Edinburgh College of Art. In addition to working as a cartoonist and illustrator, she has lectured on art and design and worked as a graphic designer. Olwyn has illustrated several other Barefoot titles including The Barefoot Book of Pirates (1998) and Celtic Memories (2003).
