Adrian Boote was a civil servant before giving it up to look after his children full-time. He discovered he enjoyed children's stories as much as they did and decided to try and write one himself. The result was The Lemonade Genie. Adrian lives in Uppingham, Rutland. Tim Archbold is an established children's books artist. He illustrated the Smarties Silver Award Winner 1999, Astrid the Au pair from Outer Space (Young Corgi). Tim lives in Kelso.
