Barry Gibbons retired from big company life in 1994 after five successful years as Chairman/CEO of the Burger King Corporation. His life is now a patchwork quilt of business interests, writing and consulting. He is involved in a gourmet coffee business and a music publishing company. He writes a bi-weekly newspaper column for the Knight Ridder group of newspapers.
