by RayS.Anderson (Author)

Synopsis

This book explores how the Church can relate to today's world without watering down the gospel. It examines the parallels between the challenges facing the Church today and the first century Antioch church, where 'emergent theology' was shaped under Paul's ministry, developing from the 'parent' Jerusalem church. The resources include UK leaders involved in 'mission-shaped/emerging church' initiatives. It is endorsed by key 'emerging church' figures Eddie Gibbs and Brian McLaren. It is suitable for Church leaders, those involved in UK 'mission-shaped/emerging church' initiatives, and those interested in how the church relates to contemporary culture and enjoy John Drane, Brian McLaren, J. Richard Middleton and Brian J. Walsh.
