Roy Strong on Garden Design

Roy Strong on Garden Design

by RoyStrong (Author)

Synopsis

There are many elements that make a garden different and special. However, all too often these elements are seen as playing a secondary role, but in fact they dictate the flavour of the whole garden. In this book, Roy Strong gives these features the attention they deserve by covering all aspects of garden design - which plants to use, architectural features and garden ornaments. Moreover, he never loses sight of the small garden as an entity and always considers how the features relate to each other, to the overall structure of the garden and to the planting schemes.
