Author Bio
Peter Patilla is an experienced teacher and an educational expert. He is a former headmaster of a primary school and is a senior Lecturer in Mathematics education. He is an experienced author, having written many books, software programs and articles in the educational press. He has led many INSET courses across Europe and the UK. His research areas include developing counting skills, mental mathematics and Early learning concepts. Paul Broadbent is an experienced teacher and former primary deputy headteacher. He is currently a free-lance primary maths consultant and author, providing INSET for teachers throughout the UK and Europe. He has written many mathematics books for the school and for the home, as well as schools television programmes and website activities for the BBC.
