Inner Magic: A Guide to Witchcraft

Inner Magic: A Guide to Witchcraft

by Ann - Marie Gallagher (Author)

Synopsis

Appealing to the current renaissance of popular interest in witches, Inner Magic provides an intelligent and lively introduction to the use of magic in everyday life. For those more well versed in the magical arts, Ann-Marie provides a grounded and refreshingly iconoclastic approach to magical practices and beliefs. Written in an accessible style, Ann-Marie fixes the source of magical power firmly in the world around us, and shows us ways of using magic beneficially to enhance our spiritual selves. She shows how the folk wisdom and magical tradition of witchcraft continue to fascinate and inform. Inner Magic is an illustrative and informative approach to magic - placing it in a historical and cultural context - with explanations of the principles of witchcraft, the witch in history, the rise of the modern witch, the media's fascination with witches, what a witch is, how to become a witch, the meaning of ritual, how to do spells and how to find your inner magic. Weaving magic into our everyday lives in a more conscious and active way, Ann-Marie shows us how to become closer in touch with the magical web within and around us.
