Author Bio
George Carter is one of Britain's most exciting garden designers and his work can be seen throughout Europe and the United States. George now combines garden and exhibition design projects, and his 1999 garden for Christie's at the Chelsea Flower Show Sculpture in the Garden won an RHS gold medal. He is a frequent contributor to many magazines, including House and Garden, The World of Interiors and Gardens Illustrated, and is author of The Garden as Theatre, Formal Gardens and, most recently, Gardening with Herbs and Gardening with Containers. Marianne Majerus is a leading gardening and interiors photographer with a passion for plants. Her work is featured in numerous publications including Gardens Illustrated, Ideal Home, The English Garden, House and Garden and The Times Magazine. She worked with George Carter on Gardening with Herbs and Gardening with Containers.
