Author Bio
A former editor of The Router magazine, Stuart Lawson initially qualified as a carpenter before setting up a joinery workshop in Brighton, UK. Through his work making furniture, he developed an interest in 3D design, which led him to study at the Royal College of Art in London and take on his own design consultancy work. Stuart became a lecturer in Product Innovation and development at the University of Brighton and is currently Associate Head of the School of Design at De Montfort University in Leicester, UK.
