Media Reviews
'Crown has written a lovely novel about Nazi Germany. The success of his light approach to serious subject matter owes much to Sirius ... but it's clear that beneath the comic veneer, a grave imperative drives his storytelling' Independent.
'Delightful ... Crown has presented a thoroughly enjoyable story which dances gracefully between comedy and tragedy, all the while retelling history as it could have been, and almost was' Women24 (South Africa).
'Unique and unforgettable ... a genuinely sweet and uplifting novel' Catholic Herald.
'Rarely a book is so intelligent, funny and cute at the same time' Kultur Spiegel.
'Crown successfully pulls off the high-wire act of giving the horror of the Nazi era a tragicomic turn' Kleine Zeitung.
'For those who like wit, heart and wordly wisdom' Bild.de.
