Media Reviews
A ripping good start to what promises to be a grand series - Count Gore

One of my favorite science fiction reads all year - Geek Dad

One of the best pieces of science fiction literature to come out this year - Atomic Moo

A combination of Arthur Conan Doyle, H.G Wells, H.P. Lovecraft and even Ian Fleming. - Ravenous Monster

If you're a fan of Fringe especially, this should do the trick while changing the scenery to something older with cobblestones and gaslights (and of course horrific things beyond the ken of mortal minds). - Hey Poor Player

Mark A. Latham has nailed the setting, the language, and the sense of dread of a London under attack. The finale is just pure page-turning fun, and I think I must have read the final 100 pages or so in a single sitting without a break. - Geek Dad

The author, Mark A. Latham, is known for his fondness of history and brings it to life in The Lazarus Gate. Using dialogue and descriptions to his advantage, Latham is able to project vivid images of alleyways in London and the common tongue that would be heard...I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a thrilling mystery set in a time period of discovery. - Mugglenet

Mark A. Latham blends different elements in a superb way and creates an incredibly fresh story that's full of surprises and twists. When you begin to read this novel, you'll notice that it has clearly been written out of love for storytelling, because it feels exciting and fresh. - Rising Shadow

If you are looking for a story filled with mystery, chaotic action, suspenseful adventure, strong characters and the supernatural then this novel is for you. - Geek Hard
