Media Reviews

What a pleasure it is to read Dale Ralph Davis on Abraham... He writes with clarity, insight and warmth as well as a lovely humility before God and his word. Read, enjoy and benefit.

-- Graham Beynon

Ralph Davis is probably my favorite Old Testament expositor: he always unfolds the text with freshness, insight, and humor, leaving the reader with a clear understanding of what God is up to and the difference that should make in our lives. This volume on Abraham is a classic in the making!

-- Iain Duguid

... another example of the lively biblical exposition that readers of Dale Ralph Davis have come to know and love... Anyone wanting to study, preach, or teach Genesis 12-25 will want to have this book ready at hand.

-- Scott R. Swain

Ralph Davis writes with a pastor's heart. I have now read this book twice and each time the eyes of my understanding were opened to fresh insights and my soul was nourished. You can't ask for more.

-- Jonathan Fletcher - Evangelicals Now

Reading Faith of our Father was an edifying meditation. Moreover, behind each of these sermons there is much work in the text of Scripture including labor in the original language.

-- Bryan D. Estelle
